“MARRIAGE AMENDMENT”

TO THE MISSOURI CONSTITUTION

This outline was prepared for speaking at a seminar given to other lawyers for purposes of Continuing Legal Education.  My charge was to discuss the impact that the passing or failing of the Missouri Marriage Amendment would have on married or unmarried couples, whether homosexual or heterosexual.  The outline simply acts as my notes for the speech and was not intended for more formal publication, however, it provides the reader with a “laundry list” of issues to consider in same-sex or other unmarried relationships.
