Susan L. Ward is the founder of the Law Offices of Susan L Ward L.L.C., concentrating in the area of family law. She is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Illinois. Mrs. Ward graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1988, and the St. Louis University School of Law in 1991. She is rated AV by the Martindale Hubbell legal directory, the highest designation awarded by that publication. She is Post-Chair of the 1500 member Young Lawyers Division of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, also serving on that body's Board of Governors. She is Secretary of the Board of Directors for the St. Louis Bar Foundation, the charitable branch of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. She is also a member of the St. Louis County Bar Association. Mrs. Ward is a member of the Family Law Sections of the Missouri Bar, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. Mrs. Ward is a member of the Women Lawyers' Association, and has recently served on their board. She is a graduate of the ABA sponsored Family Law Advocacy Institute, held each year for one week at the University of Houston. She has lectured for the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, The National Business Institute, and the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation on trial procedure, practice, and family law topics. She has also authored a two-part article for "The Young Lawyer," a publication of the Young Lawyers' Division of the American Bar Association and numerous columns for the St. Louis Lawyer. In 1999, Mrs. Ward received the St. Louis County Bar Association's "Outstanding Young Lawyer" award.
